Joomla 1.5.7 released

Get it while it's hot, folks: Joomla 1.5.7 has been released. This is a security and bug fix release, so don't expect any killer new features. From the looks of it, this isn't as important as 1.5.6, but still--upgrade now!

Security* Several security issues were fixed in this release. There was 1 critical, 1 major and 2 moderate security vulnerabilities fixed in 1.5.7. For more information, visit the Security Center.

Hi Daniel,
Are you new to Joomla, or did you just upgrade to 1.5.7 and are now having problems? I ask because you mention index.html, but Joomla generally creates php files.
If you're brand new to Joomla, I'd recommend a good into to Joomla tutorial. There are some free ones on the Internet, or you can get one as a dvd or book by clicking on the upper left of this page.

Does the caching system cache adsense or have any adverse effects on ad impressions?

The dropdown menus on my install of 1.5.7 are locked. Anyone else have this problem?

@Meme--I haven't heard of that being an issue but to be honest I'm not 100% sure.
@ChrisC--Meaning that they aren't dropping down anymore? Are you using the built in Joomla menus or an extension? Does upgrading to 1.5.8 fix the problem?
